BIO
Born in Basauri (Bizkaia) and resident in Arbizu (Navarra), he holds a doctorate in Basque Philology, a degree in Physical Education and has completed his studies in Piano and Singing at the conservatories of Vitoria and Bilbao.
This multifaceted author has literary creation as his profession, but he also gives lectures on his books and travels, and sings opera, both in choir and as a soloist.
His more than thirty works include travel literature (Tubabu, 7 Colores, El Sur de la Memoria…), children’s literature (Hacia la Gran Muralla, Los Latidos de la Tierra…) and crime novels. To this genre belong Shahmaran, Dreams of Tangier and the saga of the detective-seer Touré (Shahmarán, Sueños de Tanger y la saga del detective-vidente Touré), which already has nine titles and will soon be turned into a TV series.
