Jorge Guerricaechevarría (Avilés, 1965)
Dedicated to the world of screenwriting since 1991, he has worked with directors such as Álex De la Iglesia, Daniel Monzón, Pedro Almodóvar, Paco Plaza, Daniel Calparsoro, Óscar Aibar, Norberto López, Salvador Calvo and Jorge Coira.
He is a member of the Spanish, European (EFA) and American (AMPAS) film academies and has been nominated six times for the Goya Awards, winning twice for the films “Celda 211” and “Las leyes de la frontera”. He has also been nominated for the European Film Awards and on four occasions for the Film Writers Circle Medal, which he won for “Las leyes
de la frontera”.
