Oualid Baha studied production at the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA Sup) and Film Law and Economics at the Sorbonne University (Paris). After several experiences in film festival organization and programming he joined Tact Production as associate producer in 2016. He develops and produces fiction and documentary projects. He is also a reader for various commissions and a regular speaker at workshops and labs. His latest production is Karim Bensalah’s first feature-length fiction film Six pieds sur terre (Spanish premiere in AFRIKALDIA). The film had its world premiere at the Red Sea Film Festival 2024, where it won best screenplay. It was released theatrically in France in June 2024 and is streaming on Netflix MENA.
