Synopsis

Izidine, a recently graduated police inspector, investigates a crime in a former colonial fortress that is now a retirement home: Vasto Excelencio, its director, has been murdered. Marta, the nursing home nurse, insists on leading the investigation into the real crime at the home, surprising Inspector Izidine: the residents confess to committing the crime. But the inspector gradually discovers that the real crime was committed out of revenge.
